I'm planning an 'upgrade' !
I'm going to buy the new 580EX II and the ST-E2.
For the moment I use since several years a 380EX with the Off Shoe Cord.
Of course this combination has his limits, which I want to overcome with
the 580+ ST-E2.
The 380EX has never let me down and the results, especially since I use
it with my 30d, are quite good.
I have following questions :
a) what do I do with the 380? Do I sell the unit (for a low price) or
can the 380 be used in combination with the 580? For instance use the
380 as the main flash and the 580 as slave?
b) can the Off Shoe Cord be used in a situation that is not possible
with the ST-E2?
In other word is there a reason not to sell the 380 and/or the Off She Cord?
