In the world of digital photography it is so easy to alter an image. In the landscape world, it is so tempting to add or delete. Since I always try to capture the "moment" in its most pristine state, I frequently (emphasize that!) remove people, dirt, twigs, other things that might distract from the image. However, in the world of photo journalism, it's a different conversation. PJ is indeed an "of the moment" shot... regardless of the distractions in the scene. if the image is shot correctly and it is powerful enough to carry its message, then it must be left in its original context. Too bad this guy didn't remember that rule. thanks for sharing this article. A cautionary tale. Jane __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
