In the world of digital photography it is so easy to alter an image. In the 
landscape world, it is
so tempting to add or delete. Since I always try to capture the "moment" in its 
most pristine
state, I frequently (emphasize that!) remove people, dirt, twigs, other things 
that might distract
from the image. However, in the world of photo journalism, it's a different 
conversation. PJ is
indeed an "of the moment" shot... regardless of the distractions in the scene. 
if the image is
shot correctly and it is powerful enough to carry its message, then it must be 
left in its
original context. Too bad this guy didn't remember that rule. thanks for
