You're the first person I've ever seen who owned the 90-300mm. I guess Canon
thought it would partner well with the 28-90, but they forgot to discontinue
the 75-300mm and I imagine most people bought the longer zoom range.

Neither of those are especially notable, particularly at 300mm, but I've
hung onto my old 75-300IS for snapshots because the only lens of comparable
focal length is the 70-200 with a 1.4x, or the 100-400, and they're just not
what I want to lug around for snapshooting. If it's something I really care
about, sure, they'll come along, but not all the time.
