This is a brand new, Chinese copy of the OEM Canon hood. It appears to be pretty much equal to the Canon hood in quality. The outside finish is a little bit shinier than Canon's, but the inside is nicely flocked.
I'm selling it only because I bought the wrong hood. This fits the non IS version, and I own the IS lens. You can see the ebay listing by searching for auction # 230108851220. I paid $20 plus shipping. It's yours for $20, shipped to the lower 48 states. Anywhere else, I'll add actual shipping charges (which should be low--it doesn't weigh very much).
