I wonder why I did not receive the original email on this, and what dreadful news. as a former member of the San Francisco East Bay community of music lovers, music programs and photography, Ken's name was familiar to us all. He was a welcome and knowledgeable member of this group for a long time; he will be missed.
It's going around. I went to Las Vegas this weekend to attend the 40th anniversary convention of Chicago (yes, the rock band) (being a member of the fan club) (and also wanted to do photography at the concerts), and a very good friend attended from the Midwest; she suffered a fatal heart attack just after the concert and passed away Friday evening. Two wonderful weekend in a very short time; my heart has a larger hole in it than it did last week.
