I'll go you one better. I DID actually work on 8" flops once.... for quite 
awhile. Guess I'm
dating myself, huh. And no, I'm not having any fun on this date! I actually ran 
across a 5-1/4 in
my files today and really wanted what was on it. I decided it was easier to 
replace it with the
new "download" version of that font, rather than go to the effort of finding 
someone who even
knows what a floppy disk is!! :-)

All kidding aside, Javier, the SD/CF cards on the 1Ds 2 and 3 work independent 
of each other, but
simultaneously. You thus have a backup on one card from what you save to the 
other. While I don't
have either (and am "sort of" content with the original 1Ds - but that's sour 
grapes because if I
had the money, I'd buy the new one in a heartbeat), I believe you can set the 
camera so you can
use both, or one (of your choice). Pretty cool.... to heck with all the geek 
speak. I can't do
that anymore. I retired my geek training 20 years ago....
