To go off on a totally useless course, am I the only one who thinks
all the current DSLRs are UGLY? Especially the larger cameras such

my eye, the Hasselblad H series cameras are a beautiful design, or
at least a step in the right direction. I know they are medium
format based which dictates their shape to an extent, but still, it
seems to me Canon could do a ground up redesign of the 1D cameras
to something totally modern, sleek, and ergonomic. After all, we
base so many purchases based on LOOKS... cars, homes, clothes..
wives and husbands :-) Can you imagine how Canon could absolutely
deal a death blow to other manufacturers if they came out with a
TOTALLY NEW camera design, even possibly with a carbon fiber outer
casing, or perhaps a dark titanium colored body with burgundy
leather accents, or maybe some elegant brushed silver lenses,
or, .... or .... just think of the possibilities! WHY do we have
to always have these black brick eyesores put in front of us? Sure,
the final photo is what REALLY counts, but come on, ya know it
would also be great to have a KILLER LOOKING piece of equipment
with which to take those photos!
Just rambling thoughts on a rainy day. :-)

Maybe if Apple bought Canon, they'd start with see-thru bodies!
