Subject: Re: EOS BW filters in digital

Hmm. This leads me to ask if there's a filter for PS that will emulate an IR camera. Or, can one be cobbled up somehow? If the sensors reach into the IR region, it should be possible. Or is there a physical IR filter interposed ahead of the sensors to cut off the longer wavelengths? Our fearless leader seems to be an IR expert, so perhaps he will stoop to answer.

Nik Color Efex Pro 2.0 has a very good IR emulation, both black and white and color IR.
Caution, nudes...

Both filters have 4 or 5 settings to choose from.
