[ticket:123] - Python 3 support is added ! See README.py3k for installation and testing notes. [ticket:119] - Unit tests now run with nose. [ticket:127] - Source code escaping has been simplified. In particular, module source files are now generated with the Python "magic encoding comment", and source code is passed through mostly unescaped, except for that code which is regenerated from parsed Python source. This fixes usage of unicode in <%namespace:defname> tags. [ticket:99] - RichTraceback(), html_error_template().render(), text_error_template().render() now accept "error" and "traceback" as optional arguments, and these are now actually used. [ticket:122] - The exception output generated when format_exceptions=True will now be as a Python unicode if it occurred during render_unicode(), or an encoded string if during render(). - A percent sign can be emitted as the first non-whitespace character on a line by escaping it as in "%%". [ticket:112] - Template accepts empty control structure, i.e. % if: %endif, etc. [ticket:94] - The <%page args> tag can now be used in a base inheriting template - the full set of render() arguments are passed down through the inherits chain. Undeclared arguments go into **pageargs as usual. [ticket:116] - defs declared within a <%namespace> section, an uncommon feature, have been improved. The defs no longer get doubly-rendered in the body() scope, and now allow local variable assignment without breakage. [ticket:109] - Windows paths are handled correctly if a Template is passed only an absolute filename (i.e. with c: drive etc.) and no URI - the URI is converted to a forward-slash path and module_directory is treated as a windows path. [ticket:128] - TemplateLookup raises TopLevelLookupException for a given path that is a directory, not a filename, instead of passing through to the template to generate IOError. [ticket:73] 0.2.6 - Fix mako function decorators to preserve the original function's name in all cases. Patch from Scott Torborg. - Support the <%namespacename:defname> syntax in the babel extractor. [ticket:118] - Further fixes to unicode handling of .py files with the html_error_template. [ticket:88] 0.2.5 - Added a "decorator" kw argument to <%def>, allows custom decoration functions to wrap rendering callables. Mainly intended for custom caching algorithms, not sure what other uses there may be (but there may be). Examples are in the "filtering" docs. - When Mako creates subdirectories in which to store templates, it uses the more permissive mode of 0775 instead of 0750, helping out with certain multi-process scenarios. Note that the mode is always subject to the restrictions of the existing umask. [ticket:101] - Fixed namespace.__getattr__() to raise AttributeError on attribute not found instead of RuntimeError. [ticket:104] - Added last_modified accessor to Template, returns the time.time() when the module was created. [ticket:97] - Fixed lexing support for whitespace around '=' sign in defs. [ticket:102] - Removed errant "lower()" in the lexer which was causing tags to compile with case-insensitive names, thus messing up custom <%call> names. [ticket:108] - added "mako.__version__" attribute to the base module. [ticket:110] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Tue May 4 2010 Luke Macken <lmac...@redhat.com> - 0.3.2-2 - Apply patch from upstream to fix Python 2.4 issue http://www.makotemplates.org/trac/ticket/131 * Tue May 4 2010 Luke Macken <lmac...@redhat.com> - 0.3.2-1 - Update to 0.3.2 - Run the test suite in %check * Sun Jul 26 2009 Fedora Release Engineering <rel-...@lists.fedoraproject.org> - 0.2.4-3 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_12_Mass_Rebuild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ python-repoze-tm2-1.0-0.6.a5.el5 (FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2720) Zope-like transaction manager via WSGI middleware -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: ***1.0a5 (2009/9/7)*** * Don't commit after aborting if the transaction was doomed or if the commit veto aborted. * Don't use "real" transaction module in tests. * 100% test coverage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed May 5 2010 Luke Macken <lmac...@redhat.com> - 1.0-0.5.a5 - Update to 1.0a5 - Run the test suite in %check -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ python-repoze-what-quickstart-1.0.6-1.el5 (FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2738) A plugin for a simple authentication system with repoze.who/what -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Version 1.0.6 (2010-01-31) * Added the ability to make FriendlyFormPlugin use a character encoding other than the default one (ISO-8859-1/Latin-1). Version 1.0.5 (2010-01-27) * Added support for custom Max-Age values as requested on pylons-discuss. To use it, you can pass the cookie_timeout and cookie_reissue_time to setup_sql_auth(). This is also supported in the Ini configuration files. Version 1.0.4 (2009-12-07) * Added the options log_file and log_level to the [authentication] section in the configuration file. Thanks to Darryl Cousins. Version 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 (2009-10-09) * Synchronized with the latest version of repoze.what-pylons. Thanks to Chris Perkins. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed May 5 2010 Luke Macken <lmac...@redhat.com> - 1.0.6-1 - Update to 1.0.6 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ python-repoze-who-1.0.18-2.el5 (FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2719) An identification and authentication framework for WSGI -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: 1.0.18 (2009-11-05) * Issue #104: AuthTkt plugin was passing an invalid cookie value in headers from forget, and was not setting the Max-Age and Expires attributes of those cookies. 1.0.17 (2009-11-05) * Fixed the repoze.who.plugins.form.make_plugin factory's formcallable argument handling, to allow passing in a dotted name (e.g., from a config file). 1.0.16 (2009-11-04) * Exposed formcallable argument for repoze.who.plugins.form.FormPlugin to the callers of the repoze.who.plugins.form.make_plugin factory. Thanks to Roland Hedburg for the report. * Fixed an issue that caused the following symptom when using the ini configuration parser: TypeError: _makePlugin() got multiple values for keyword argument 'name' See http://bugs.repoze.org/issue92 for more details. Thanks to vaab for the bug report and initial fix. 1.0.15 (2009-06-25) * If the form post value max_age exists while in the identify method is handling the login_handler_path, pass the max_age value in the returned identity dictionary as max_age. See the below bullet point for why. * If the identity dict passed to the auth_tkt remember method contains a max_age key with a string (or integer) value, treat it as a cue to set the Max-Age and Expires headers in the returned cookies. The cookie Max-Age is set to the value and the Expires is computed from the current time. 1.0.14 (2009-06-17) * Fix test breakage on Windows. See http://bugs.repoze.org/issue79 . * Documented issue with using include_ip setting in the auth_tkt plugin. See http://bugs.repoze.org/issue81 . * Added 'passthrough_challenge_decider', which avoids re-challenging 401 responses which have been "pre-challenged" by the application. * One-hundred percent unit test coverage. * Add timeout and reissue_time arguments to the auth_tkt identifier plugin, courtesty of Paul Johnston. * Add a userid_checker argument to the auth_tkt identifier plugin, courtesty of Gustavo Narea. If userid_checker is provided, it must be a dotted Python name that resolves to a function which accepts a userid and returns a boolean True or False, indicating whether that user exists in a database. This is a workaround. Due to a design bug in repoze.who, the only way who can check for user existence is to use one or more IAuthenticator plugin authenticate methods. If an IAuthenticator's authenticate method returns true, it means that the user exists. However most IAuthenticator plugins expect both a username and a password, and will return False unconditionally if both aren't supplied. This means that an authenticator can't be used to check if the user "only" exists. The identity provided by an auth_tkt does not contain a password to check against. The actual design bug in repoze.who is this: when a user presents credentials from an auth_tkt, he is considered "preauthenticated". IAuthenticator.authenticate is just never called for a "preauthenticated" identity, which works fine, but it means that the user will be considered authenticated even if you deleted the user's record from whatever database you happen to be using. However, if you use a userid_checker, you can ensure that a user exists for the auth_tkt supplied userid. If the userid_checker returns False, the auth_tkt credentials are considered "no good". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Tue May 4 2010 Luke Macken <lmac...@redhat.com> - 1.0.18-2 - Run the test suite in %check * Mon Apr 26 2010 Felix Schwarz <felix.schw...@oss.schwarz.eu> - 1.0.18-1 - Update to the latest upstream release. * Sun Jul 26 2009 Fedora Release Engineering <rel-...@lists.fedoraproject.org> - 1.0.13-2 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_12_Mass_Rebuild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ python-repoze-who-friendlyform-1.0.6-1.el5 (FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2718) Collection of repoze.who friendly form plugins -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: ***Version 1.0.6 (2010-04-28)*** * Restricted the plugin to identify and challenge to browser requests only. So it won’t come into play if the client is a Subversion client, for example. ***Version 1.0.5 (2010-04-22)*** * Made the plugin return str instead of unicode when the request is made using ASCII. * Added sample code to the documentation on how to use FriendlyFormPlugin, as suggested by Ian Stevens. ***Version 1.0.1 (2010-01-29)*** * Added the ability to set another default character encoding for the credentials in FriendlyFormPlugin. Although ISO-8859-1 (aka “Latin-1”) is the official default charset according to the HTTP 1.1 specification (the one to be used when no encoding is explicitly mentioned in the request), browsers (e.g., Firefox) don’t set it even when they use other encodings like UTF-8. So, if you use a charset other than Latin-1, you should let the plugin know.
