This is a Frequently Asked Question... Why isn't a package in EPEL-X when it is in EPEL-Y. Packages are not automatically branched for each EPEL version. They must be sponsored by a packager for particular channels, and packagers may or may not be interested in EPEL-X while they were interested in EPEL-Y. In most cases it is best to have users ask if the owner of the package as that tells the packager there are actually users for it versus guessing. <smooge> .whoowns tinyproxy <zodbot> smooge: jjh <smooge> .fasinfo jjh <zodbot> smooge: User: jjh, Name: None, email: [email protected], Creation: 2007-03-23, IRC Nick: None, Timezone: None, Locale: None, GPG key ID: None, Status: active <zodbot> smooge: Approved Groups: cla_fedora cla_done fedorabugs packager cla_fpca > Thanks, > Cesare > > > _______________________________________________ > epel-devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/epel-devel > > -- Stephen J Smoogen.
