OK this is just messed up. The newer version only has the older devtoolset, and the what I thought was the older version only has the newer devtoolset but not the other libraries you need. I am guessing I will need to add both the buildroot as separate secondary channels but I have no idea if things will work. This is what I get for putting in work on a Friday to production.
