Name : mozilla-https-everywhere Product : Fedora EPEL 8 Version : 2022.5.11 Release : 1.el8 URL : https://eff.org/https-everywhere Summary : HTTPS enforcement extension for Mozilla Firefox Description : HTTPS Everywhere is a Firefox extension produced as a collaboration between The Tor Project and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It encrypts your communications with a number of major websites. Many sites on the web offer some limited support for encryption over HTTPS, but make it difficult to use. For instance, they may default to unencrypted HTTP, or fill encrypted pages with links that go back to the unencrypted site. The HTTPS Everywhere extension fixes these problems by rewriting all requests to these sites to HTTPS. The Fedora RPM package includes the legacy XUL version, no longer updated, for SeaMonkey users. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: update to 2022.5.11 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Sep 7 2022 Jonathan Wright <[email protected]> - 2022.5.11-1 - Update to 2022.5.11 rhbz#1869604 * Thu Jul 21 2022 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 2020.8.13-5 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_37_Mass_Rebuild * Thu Jan 20 2022 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 2020.8.13-4 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild * Thu Jul 22 2021 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 2020.8.13-3 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_35_Mass_Rebuild * Tue Jan 26 2021 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 2020.8.13-2 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_34_Mass_Rebuild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs.
