-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora EPEL Update Notification FEDORA-EPEL-2025-a2ebcbbe8c 2025-07-24 00:32:07.868328+00:00 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : notmuch Product : Fedora EPEL 10.0 Version : 0.39 Release : 7.el10_0 URL : https://notmuchmail.org/ Summary : System for indexing, searching, and tagging email Description : Fast system for indexing, searching, and tagging email. Even if you receive 12000 messages per month or have on the order of millions of messages that you've been saving for decades, Notmuch will be able to quickly search all of it. Notmuch is not much of an email program. It doesn't receive messages (no POP or IMAP support). It doesn't send messages (no mail composer, no network code at all). And for what it does do (email search) that work is provided by an external library, Xapian. So if Notmuch provides no user interface and Xapian does all the heavy lifting, then what's left here? Not much. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: adjust to missing runtime dependencies on EL 10 (rhbz#2380063) (rhbz#2380064) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Tue Jul 15 2025 Michael J Gruber <[email protected]> - 0.39-7 - adjust to missing runtime dependencies on EL 10 (rhbz#2380063) (rhbz#2380064) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2380063 - notmuch-mutt: fails to install from EPEL 10.0/10.1 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2380063 [ 2 ] Bug #2380064 - notmuch-vim: fails to install from EPEL 10.0/10.1 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2380064 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs.
