Hi Jeff,
Work product descriptors can be assigned to an activity, but they are not
used by any task descriptors under the activity. If you don't want to see
those published, you can remove them at the activity level.
As for the workflow image background, there is no option to control it.
You could file an enhancement request for that.

Dear EPF Dev,
I have noticed in the generated website that the 'Work Product Usage'
tab of a phase includes work products that are not actually used by any
of the tasks in the process.

deliberate design feature? Is there any way that the unused work
products can be excluded for a particular phase or activity?
Another website feature is that all of the generated workflow images
have a white background. Is it possible to generate the website so that
these images have a see-through background?
