Subversion is also an option we should explicitly consider. I prefer it to
Git. The reason for it is that Git still has some way to go in terms of
user friendliness. But both are a big improvement to using CVS so I would
personally welcome the change.

I made some inquiries okt 2010 about moving away from CVS see
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=328234. The bugzilla is still
open.

Should we put this to a vote? We can use this bugzilla to collect the votes
from the committer members (tool and content developers).

The migration is a automated process I think so that helps. Of course we
will need to update manuals, guidelines on EPF site, I am willing to
contribute to that.
