It would find very handy if Epiphany added such files to the "Recent Documents" list so I do not need to go hunting for that file again in my downloads folder.
Why do you think Epiphany, instead of the helper app, has the responsibility to add downloaded+opened files to the recent files list?
automatically opened in a helper application. For example, choosing File > Save As or right-click > Save Link As would not add anything to the recent documents list.
There's a bug open that requests exactly what you describe: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148401, feel free to add your comments.
I would not mind trying to implement this myself, but do the maintainers think it is useful enough to be accepted into the tree? Or could I write this as an extension?
You are, of course, free to write your own extensions :-) Christian decides about what goes into the tree. regards, -- Reinout van Schouwen *** student of Artifical Intelligence email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** mobile phone: +31-6-44360778 www.vanschouwen.info *** help mee met GNOME vertalen: nl.gnome.org _______________________________________________ epiphany-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/epiphany-list
