What I assume is meant is that links with target="_blank" should be able to be loaded into a new tab instead of new window. This is a possible setting in Firefox, and very useful. Of course, one *could* learn to use middle click instead (if you have a middle button) or whatever modifier it is on the keyboard. But, if you like me *never ever* want to open in new window, then a simple setting is much better. Actually, I use it in a sort of combination now in Fx: when I left click, it opens a new tab (if target blank) and gives that tab focus, when I middle click focus is kept wit hthe old page. So I can easily open links either to follow directly or to check out later, extremely handy, although a bit specialized. The important thing is that I treat tabs as once was the meaning of windows (and still is in IE), and so, it is just annoying that target="_blank" should open a whole new window; that's not even correct behaviour in the tab model IMO, but rather a relic from the past. -- Kristoffer Lundén ✉ [EMAIL PROTECTED] ✉ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.gamemaker.nu/ ☎ 0704 48 98 77
