Hi all! * What is it ? ==============
This is a patch is for the Epiphany web browser (part of GNOME), providing a new bookmark properties window, adding some useful enhancements to the topic selector. It also happens to make bookmarks and topics able to be drag-and-dropped from the bookmarks menus to places like the toolbar and the browser tabs. This release is of my current patch to CVS head, a pre-patched tarball of CVS head, and a pre-complied Debian package. http://home.exetel.com.au/harvey/epiphany/patches/t2e.png * What's changed for t2? ======================== * Large changes to topic selector following user backlash ;) * Can no longer have topics highlighted/selected, can only click * Using a dialog in place of the inline "New topic" creation as it would otherwise complicate the behaviour of the topic 'palette' in "Most used" or "Community" mode. * What's planned for t3? ======================== * Custom bookmark icons. * Polishing the bookmark properties window (it needs to be perfect else we will get stomped on by users). This includes text strings, key bindings, etc. * Where can I get it ? ====================== Patch: http://home.exetel.com.au/harvey/epiphany/patches/t2.patch Pre-patched source code: http://home.exetel.com.au/harvey/epiphany/patches/epiphany_20051122.t2.tar.bz2 Debian package: http://home.exetel.com.au/harvey/epiphany/debian/epiphany-browser_1.9.2-t2_i386.deb * How do I compile it ? ======================= Apply patch to 1.9.2 or CVS head, or use the provided source tarball. Make sure you run ./autogen.sh first. Regards, Peter _______________________________________________ epiphany-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/epiphany-list
