I don't know how long this has been in Epiphany, but I just noticed it in 1.9.6: when you hide the toolbars, pressing Ctrl+L makes it temporarily appear until you type an address.
I just wanted to say I love this feature, and I'm always impressed how useful stuff like this finds its way into Ephy's interface. I just wish it were easier to discover, since I'm sure there are many other nifty tricks like this waiting to be discovered. The shortcuts page in the help file is a great start, but I'm wondering if there could be a "Neat Tricks" or "Advanced Tips" page somewhere to catalog all this overflowing goodness. The other super-cool feature I remember getting much joy at discovering is that if you hold down Ctrl when you choose a bookmark, it opens in a new tab. Genius, simple, and unintrusive. The problem is that unintrusive often goes hand in hand with undiscoverable. Anyhow, thanks for a great browser! -Phil Hagelberg http://technomancy.us _______________________________________________ epiphany-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/epiphany-list
