Hi; I have developed the habit of leaving my epiphany bookmark editor open on my desktop or iconified on my lower gnome panel. I use it for quick access to often used web sites and prefer that method to using epiphany bookmarks on the toolbar. I have a icon/launcher on my upper panel that uses the command epiphany -b to launch just the editor.
I have two questions about how to make this really work for me. 1) How can I make the session manager recognize and remember the open state of the editor. If epiphany has to be opened in the background on logging in so be it. I expect that it does. 2) If the above can be done, how can I set it to remember it was in an iconified state on my lower panel. I haven't decided yet, but perhaps I would like to set it up so that it always opens iconified when I login. Recognizing that everybody's work style is different, I must say that I love using epiphny's bookmark editor as a favourites list. It is a quick, efficient way to open sites that I use often. I might start asking for shortcut keys next for moving around the editor! Or, I might start asking for a way to have two editors with different lists of bookmarks open at the same time. -- Regards Bill _______________________________________________ epiphany-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/epiphany-list
