I have been a long-time user of Epiphany and just came across something that has me stumped. I recently visited http://www.google.com and found that Epiphany loads the mobile version of the site. Clicking "View Google in: Classic" restores the normal site, but revisiting http://www.google.com once again loads the mobile site.
So, I checked my User-Agent string. It is: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.2+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/531.2+ Epiphany/2.30.5 I even configured Firefox to use the above User-Agent string. Firefox worked fine. I also cleared all of my browser's cookies, etc. I looked at things with Wireshark and noticed that epiphany sends "HTTP GET /m?manifest=1 HTTP/1.1." So, it makes sense that the Google Mobile. But, where does this come from? I type www.google.com into the address bar and make no mention of /m. Wireshark does not seem to catch any redirecting going on. I am using: epiphany-2.30.5 webkitgtk-1.3.2 Any ideas? -- Mike :wq _______________________________________________ epiphany-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/epiphany-list
