I fixed it in version 3.33.3-31.Affected versions are 3.33.3-17 through 3.33.3-30. If you have one of these versions, your bookmarks are surely already gone. Sorry. :(
If you don't yet have -17, e.g. because you disabled automatic updates or aren't using GNOME Software, then be careful about upgrading.
