Hi Yannis,

If I understood correctly, you want a menu item in Epoptes, that would say e.g.
"Restore preferred screen resolution".
And in the help file, we'd say "this menu restores the screen resolution after
other programs, not related to epoptes, change the resolution, and then crash".
I think that use case is too rare to include a menu in Epoptes about it. You
can always run that command manually from the "Execute commands" menu, and when
we support command bookmarks, you can add it to your bookmarks.

You should probably file a bug against tuxpaint instead. Maybe they can
include a wrapper that would restore the resolution after they crash. Or
they may fix the crash itself. :)

Title:
Revert to default screen resolution after fullscreen program dies

Status in Epoptes:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When a fullscreen program such as Tuxpaint defuncts, the resolution of
the computer is not reverted to the default. There should be an option
in epoptes to revert to the default resolution. The command that
performs this action is the following:

  xrandr -s 0

In cases where there are many monitors attached, all monitors will
revert to the default ("prefered") resolution.
