You shouldn't start epoptes-client manually, please revert your changes and re-test. There are two epoptes-client instances for each client. One that runs as root is started from /etc/network/if-up.d/epoptes-client. One that runs as the user is started from /etc/xdg/autostart/epoptes-client.desktop. If for some reason following the installation steps (http://www.epoptes.org/installation) didn't work out of the box for you, we should start from there. ** Changed in: epoptes Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Epoptes Developers, which is the registrant for Epoptes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1006384 Title: prevent duplicate client display Status in Epoptes: Incomplete Bug description: Sometimes it can be happen that a client (same machine) will be displayed duplicate.
