Hi all,

As a newbie to Equalizer, I would like to ask for some basic instructions
for running Equalizer on a multi-node cluster. I was able to run the
multi-window Equalizer examples on a single node. However, when I tried to
run eqPly on two nodes, eqPly was simply frozen, without anything being
displayed.

Below is what I did:
(1) modified the "2-node.2D.eqc" file: the only changed line is the
"connection { hostname "node2"}". All the other lines are untouched;
(2) "eqServer configs/2-node.2D.eqc &" on node 1. No errors were returned;
(3) ssh into node 2 and "eqServer configs/2-node.2D.eqc &" on node 2. No
errors were returned;
(4) "eqPly" on node 1 and it got stuck.

Each of my nodes is a Dell PC with OpenSuSE 10.2 and nVidia graphics card
connected with 1G network. I was able to use these nodes to run Chromium; so
the network connections and OpenGL settings should be all right (I guess).

Could anyone please give me some hints on solving this problem?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Chang Yuan
