Ah, my old friends from Broadcom. On the Windows side, we've never
been able to get reliable performance with Broadcom on-board chips.

You can try tweaking your TCP parameters - I strongly suspect the ack
frequency.

In the interest of your sanity I suggest you try Intel GigE cards.
I've spend weeks looking at Wireshark traces, and while some delays
can be solved by the right parameters, Broadcom cards delayed packets
sometimes up to 200ms when collisions occurred. Since I am no
networking specialist, I've never completely figured out what's going
on.

In the future we might implement connections based on other protocols
in Equalizer, like UDP.
