Hello, as some of you might have noticed, we are gradually phasing out supporting the old build systems (make, XCode, Visual Studio). The CMake files should work now with all these generators. Please let me know if you have issues using CMake.
I'm happy to accept patches for the CMake files -- CMake gives us many new features, for example automatic package generation.
