I just rebuilt the 7 node cluster I'm using for a tile display wall and I'm encountering eqServer failures I haven't seen before.
On the head node I run the eqServer app with my configuration file (which seems to be in order and worked before the rebuild) and then run the eqPly app. When I launch eqPly the server window spits out the following lines for each of the 6 nodes beyond the server node: 4842 eq::server: /home/cami/Downloads/Equalizer-1.0/libs/server/configUpdateSyncVisitor.h:115 3112 eq::server::Channel initialization failed: error 0x1003f 4842 eq::server: /home/cami/Downloads/Equalizer-1.0/libs/server/configUpdateSyncVisitor.h:115 3112 eq::server::Window initialization failed: error 0x10020 4842 eq::server: /home/cami/Downloads/Equalizer-1.0/libs/server/pipe.cpp:219 3112 Pipe initialization failed: error 0x0 4842 eq::server: /home/cami/Downloads/Equalizer-1.0/libs/server/configUpdateSyncVisitor.h:115 3112 eq::server::Pipe initialization failed: error 0x10010 4842 eq::server: /home/cami/Downloads/Equalizer-1.0/libs/server/node.cpp:466 3112 Node initialization failed: error 0x0 4842 eq::server: /home/cami/Downloads/Equalizer-1.0/libs/server/configUpdateSyncVisitor.h:115 3112 eq::server::Node initialization failed: error 0x20000 I'm hoping this is something very simple and I'm just suffering from a lack of sleep on this one. Please let me know if this is something commonly seen.
