It is that time of year! We are beginning our ramp down to Mars.2 [1].
This RC1 build is considered "warm-up" builds [2] and has not had a "test
pass day" or sign-offs. We begin those with RC2 in two weeks.
We appreciate anyone able to do "early testing", but the RC1 build is not
quite as finished as a true "release candidate".

[2] For those that like long-term planning (and tangents :), the concept
of "warm-up RC builds" began
many years ago due to the yearly Simultaneous Release Train. Beginning
with
Neon Maintenance (next September) we will no longer have (official)
"warm-up"
builds since the vast majority of Eclipse projects no longer require it.
