Subject: [EquisMetaStock Group] Formulas & Alerts
Hello all. I'm very new to Metastock and to this user group. I've been
trying to go through the posts here and haven't been able to find what I'm
looking for.
First, does anyone recommend a great way to learn the formula language in
Metastock? I've downloaded the Formula Primer, but it's slow going.
I'm looking to create a formula where Metastock alerts me (via email?) when a
price drops or rises 5% from the previous close, as well as a separate alert
when the price drops below the 200 daily moving average.
Also, when there are bull or bear crosses. I have Metastock 11 End of Day. If
you could be of any help!
