Your problem isn't Windows 7, it's MetaStock 12. MetaStock 12 is locked to Equis' data suppliers: Real-time data feed: MetaStock XENITH End-of-day data feed: Thomson Reuters DataLink. I would ask Equis if you can upgrade (not a typo) to version 11 but I don't think they will bite. Try existing resellers to see if they have old stock of version 11.
