Here is a list of manufacturer codes that the FAA has listed for Ercoupes
with counts as of Monday 2/7/2005. (Note: Some are revoked.) Yes Dan some
of the configurations of name and model were never built. That's the FAA
for you. I am guessing it has to do with the Type holder on the date the
aircraft was registered, or what the new owner called it before the days
of
computers when the aircraft registration was fixed in electronic bits and
bites. Sorry if the format doesn't look good. It is hard format data in
an email.
I would question Bill on the engine that sn-1 had when it was built. I
think it was A65 and not the L116. The 310 had the L116.
