Hi Alan,
    Mine (ser. no. 1519) was manufactured on May 14, 1946, and test flown on May 21, by E. E. Hart.  I later read that E. E. Hart was their chief test pilot.

I looked at my log books, the first set, the little ones that most likely came from the factory .
The first entry back in February 1946 was a one hour test flight of my coupe, two days after it was manufactured according to the data plate. The test flight is signed off by what seems to say Ray Weik. (If I can read it right) .
I bet there is a story about this.
