Jim,
If you look at the
differences between practical test standards between Sport and Private, you’ll
know the answer. I’d imagine there
won’t be all that much difference.
They’ll have to know all
the same piloting skills, map reading details, flight planning, regulations. They won’t have to know about night
flying, high altitude flying, (or, I think, demonstrate any under-the-hood
skills). I don’t know if they have
to demonstrate any radio navigation ability or not.
