Question:   I have a 415D without peddles.  It has a foot brake and a parking brake (handle on the panel).  I understand the Coupes with factory pedals had a real hand brake.  I would like to install a "real hand brake" in my Coupe so a handicapped boy who is learning to fly in my Coupe can brake without using the pedal.  If you are asking "why not just use the parking brake"...good question.  I had it installed for just that purpose but it doesn't have enough leverage to really stop the plane well...it is really just a parking brake.  If anyone can advise me if this "real hand brake" mod has been done or can be done, I would be very appreciative.  Also, if it can be done, does anyone have the parts to sell me to do it?   Thanks   Glen Davis CFII Grumman Tiger N70GD 1946 Ercoupe N3103H                 |-----| _________(*)_________                o  o  o
