It was good meeting all the Coupers at Sun N' Fun. Those who attended the Unofficial Ercoupe Dinner at the Red Barn were: David Bennear from Lakeland, FL; Brad Ringer from St. Paul, MN; Jack Levering from Ocean City, MD; Ron Black from Valley Center, KS; Rob Flannery from Wausau, WI; James and Linda McDaniel from Hernando, MS; Harry Francis from Elliston, VA; Jim Palmer from Parkersburg, WV; John Miller from Raeford, NC; William McNeill from Raeford, NC; J. D. Still from Greenwood, SC; and me from Wausau, WI. We also had an Unofficial Ercoupe Maintenance Forum, with about 16 Coupers present. We had a lively discussion about landing gear, corrosion and lots of other issues. My cousin Brad and I flew down from Wausau in my Coupe along with Rob Flannery flying his Luscombe, flying 7 hours each day for two days, with perfect weather. We headed home on Saturday morning, and again it took us two days, flying 7 hours each day. Lots of adventures, and a great trip. I'm looking forward to going back next year.
