    Actually, it's not WHAT we do that's important at the Nationals, it's WHO we do it with.  I've been going to the Nationals for 18 years or so, and it's great to meet old friends who I have a lot in common with.  The Banquet on Saturday evening is always the high point of the get-together, honoring the people who get awards.  I hope you can make it.

Glad to hear you had a good time and that Coupes were at least represented. As to “where was I”:  998.7NM South West of OSH.  Just too far for a weekend thing. 

 

I’m not even sure I’ll make Minden, if there were more on the posted agenda than a tour of the blue jean factory and two meals, I would be a lot more inclined to make a special effort.

 

Maybe some one on the list can “sell” the national gathering.  I’m listening.

Hi all, I thouht I would kinda let you all know that you missed a very nice event that  our very own Syd put together.I was last weekend at pioneer airport within OSH  field.( I hope I'm not infringing on a commentary Syd was gunna do but Ifeel compelled to!! There were 24 aircraft total with 3 coupes. I was one of the three Syd and Arden were together in Syd's plane and  a father and son (I'm sorry I forgot their names they were very nice guys )my point is:where the **** were some of you.The coupe group was represented by 5 people and 3 planes.You missed a nice outting-- food was provided and a room.We had a guest speaker and toured the museum.The group as a whole was a great bunch of pilots  you missed out!!! Dennis
