I have been reading the mail on the list for a few weeks now, trying
to pick up as much info as possible before I buy. My name is Glen
Davis. I am a CFII. I have a very good friend from elementary school,
Eddie, that would love to learn to fly and I would love to open his life
to the world of aviation. The problem is Eddie had polio as a little boy
(we are both 47 now!) and only has one functioning leg. I did my homework
with the FAA and learned he can get his ticket in a Coupe (rudderless, of
course). So, I have decided to buy a coupe to teach Eddie to fly. I
suspect he might want to buy it from me after he gets rated but if he doesn't,
I'll be happy to own it. I would like to find a coupe that is in perfect
condition...one that has been lovingly restored and looks gorgeous. I'm
not a mechanic, don't have the talent of turning a wrench and don't have the
time to turn a wrench, even if I could. If you know of a Coupe for sale
like this, please let me know.
