Scott. I wonder when your plane has been weighted the last time.
I have a C-85, metal wings and basic instruments and the plane weights more than 900# empty.
That's a normal 415 Model.

What kind of instruments does the plane have? Metal and an O-200 should not do that to the plane. My "G" model has metal and an O-200 and Paint and it only weighs 860. There is something wrong with that plane.
