Dan, Dennis, all, That's a big part of why I moved from Southern Ca, although Calofornia's Central Valley is super hot all the way up to the Oregon border (and beyond). I don't like the heat. There are a few places along the Ca coast, especially the North Coast, that are cool and refreshing. That's where I prefer to stay. Yes, we have a bit of fog and rain but that's OK. Ever notice how the Ca cites starting with the word RED are hot places? Redding, Redlands, Redway, Red Bluff, Redcrest? Kinda funny coincidence. Oh, and Fall and Winter here have quite a few clear, cool, sunny days. Like today. Maybe it will get up to 70. Blue skies, slight wind - 5-10 knts, great flying weather. So all you extreme high temperature/sun lovers enjoy sweltering today! I'll pass. Spook PS If any of you ever get close to Eureka, you might consider staying at a local Fly-In Bed & Breakfast owned by a lady I know in the 99s. It's worth looking at the web site at least. http://www.northcoast.com/~airbb/ Nice photos of the B&B and the area, photographed by a friend of mine who happens to be an official USCG photographer. He is not in the CG. It is a volunteer position, but he is official, which means that he gets to fly all over the place in the helos, taking pictures of all sorts of CG events and equipment. I got to spend a whole day with him and the CG in one of their fantastic Dolphin helos working on a joint university- CG research project. But that's another story. --- Dan Hall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm > before following any advice in this forum.]---- > > > Dennis, > I waxed mine this evening between 8:30 & 11:00 PM, > while it was in the low 80's. > > It's around 100 degrees in Chino, CA during the day. > The 'pleasant' daytime weather begins in October > and ends in May, in SoCal.
