Well, we tried again.  This afternoon we had 7 Coupe owners/flyers and one visitor.  Unfortunately, the band conditions did not allow a good round table conversation to develop.  Some ‘news’ was passed around.

 

WA7HOI, Marty, took his coupe in for an annual and got a loaner: for as long as it takes.  I don’t know how he can stand it.  Marty    also tells us that Allen Rothenberg is threatening to get his HAM ticket.

KD9I, Bill, got on but could only hear one station.

N4PUQ, Jim, doesn’t own a coupe but started flying them in the 40’s.  His story was interrupted by the band conditions but it             sounded like it was going to be a classic tale of trading work at the airport for flying.  Ahh, the good old days

KO6SI, Bill, bought the coupe that was for sale on E-bay.  Ya’ll remember the one with the good spellllllin’.  He will be flying it from      Tx to San Diego soon.  He promises to keep us advised.  Sounds like fun to me.

This net reminded me of my mailbox: all Bills.

 

We will meet again next Sunday; same time, same frequency.
