The only reference I have found to Glide Ratio, is in the Mooney CADET M-10 version. The Mooney has a GW of 1450 lbs, so it will be a little worse than a 1260, or 1400 GW coupe.
 
The published Glide Ratio for an M-10 is 6:1. I would edxpect this to be a conservative figure for a lighter coupe, but is good for planing. ( The Ercoupe , A Touch of Class, page 424.)
 
If I remember correctly, a Cherokee 140 has a glide ration of 8:1...
