Hello, I'm new to this forum, just starting to read this as I'm about to purchase an Ercoupe 415-C. I've been reading up on Ercoupes and I have a question about useful load. I'm a chunky guy. No, actually, I'm kind of fat. So at 220, it looks like another 200 pound person puts me at max gross weight and I don't have any fuel yet. So, since a 415-D is basically the same airplane with a gross weight of 1400 pounds, is there any fudge factor on putting 90 pounds of extra weight in fuel in the plane? Or am I limited to flying alone or with small people, at least until I lose 50 pounds? Would it be OK in winter? I know that no one wants to state it's OK to fly overloaded. But has anyone done it, or know of experiences with it? Thanks, Larry Snyder Missouri ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers/
