Tim, I love your practical approach, gliding a mile for every 500 feet of lost altitude. And I like Ed's wanting rigorous testing, that would had precision to the practical approach. I'm happy that I haven't sacrificed glide ratio flying a coupe compared to a C150. I know all the advantages to owning a high wing but it's always bothered me to feel like I'm a bumble bee. And thanks for the explaination of the reason for the increase in up elevator. Very informative. Cyrus
