Dear Spook, How in the world did you get from my comments to the concept that I could think women are bad pilots? What a silly idea! The last time I looked at the data, women's IQ scores as a group were almost indistinguishable from men's. Individual variations are significant, even critical, but I know of no sex or race based significant differences in intelligence or ability that would affect fitness to be a pilot. Kathy, in the times I've met her has struck me as being smart and nice. Jon (Flak Magnet) commented in his note that he thought Kathy might kill him for posting the note he did. I was moved to agree that she might but nevertheless, she is a very nice lady. He might even deserve to be terminated for posting a boyfriend-wanted notice on an Internet mailing list Without Official Permission. I did want to clarify to list members who might be interested in a great lady pilot and (this demonstrates her intelligence) Ercoupe owner that Jon had mis-located her home by a couple of states.
