If someone's in contact with the family, could you ask if a particular charity has been identified? What I'd suggest is that we all agree on a particular way to identify to the charity that the donation is from a 'Couper, and that we all send our donations directly to the charity. That way nobody has to set up a fund or anything, and the family still gets the message that the 'Coupers remember Bob with great fondness. Bob was one of the folks who really guided me along when I was buying my 'Coupe. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but we routinely traded mail, and I'm going to sorely miss that.
