----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- does anyone know where the new location will be ? It was kind of nice to fly into 96C to pick up parts or pick Lee's mind. JoeC 99621
John Wright, Jr., has supplied the following information on the satatus of Skyport, and asked me to post the following information. I understand that Ron Bush has approved this early notification. Skyport has been purchased by a dedicated Ercouper, Mr. Ron Bush. Ron owns an Ercoupe and has a successful business producing model airplanes. He decided to purchase Skyport (which I understand, had been on the market for several months), as a means of insuring the parts and technical support typical of the service that Lee had established, would be maintained. Maintaining the standards which Lee has set, will be difficult; but Ron is determined to provide similar services. Ron will shortly inform all Ercoupers of the move, and we understand, provide an "800"number for parts orders; and also will provide a number for technical services. The move and set-up will probable take several weeks, as all inventory will be moved to his Aircraft Model Mfg. facility. That alone will be a tremendous project to accomplish. Maintenance and development of STCs will remain a top priorty. In the meantime we still have John, Lynn, and many other specialists, dedicated to keeping the Coupes Flying; and Univair as the manufacturer and supplier of new parts. ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
