----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hi All::
I have made cross country flights in
Ercoupes/Aircoupes both with and without rudder pedals, and my preffferance
would be without! I managed to teach the rudiments of flight to a
young mechanic on a flight from Denver to Oshkosh.
One point that was brought up in this discussion
that worries me, are the holes in the spar web for the rudder cables to pass
through. I do recall this setup on a coupe I owned in the past.
Isn't this a No-No? I remember we removed the pedals, but I do not
remember what we did with the holes in the spar web.
Just some thoughts.
Wayne
