Flew my Coupe to work this morning- what an incredible flight. It was so nice out I had to stretch a 15 minute flight into 45 and arrive just a tad late :) Couldn't buy a bump up there. Did a low approach down a strip my buddy is on (had to wake him up) and then climbed up to 7000 and flew over Schweitzer ski area and then around the lake and finally, regretfully, to work (though at least I work on an airport and can do this sort of thing). This is the type of flying Coupes are incredible for. If the wx is good on Friday morning I'll be flying N94432 from Coeur d'Alene to Arlington via I-90. Anybody going to be doing something similar? If any Couper wants to stay the night (Thurs) in CDA theyre welcome to stay at my place and then fly over in formation Friday AM. Cell number is 208-290-0252.
