I went flying today with an old timer ercouper, Paul Meyers, who used to own ercoupe N3939H and sold it 50 years ago. He had not flown since then so I asked him to come along. Weather permitting.
Well a cold front is blowing through and the sky was quite a mixed bag of rainstorms, haxe, clouds and pockets of sunlight. It was bumpy. He arrived at the airport and we went a-flying. It was not the kind of day I wanted to get too far from the airport so we flew in the area and he was piloting the plane like he had never quit.
We took a bunch of pictures which I will post later.
Right now he was wondering what ever became of his plane, Is it still one of the lucky airworthy planes? If not, is it sitting in a barn? if not, how many coke cans can you make out of one ercoupe?

It is not on the list of planes on this website.
Is there anyone who remembers how to research this plane number?
